"Hook" & Initial Opportunity Statement

Above is a "hook" page that will sell my concept ideas and act as an emotional representation of my project theme. This arises from the page underneath it -

I have decided that the best way to improve participation in multi modal transport on Dominion Road is to change the public perception of safety and security by creating solutions to discourage petty crimes such as shop theft, littering, muggings and graffiti - which all reflect on a negative community and area in their own way. At this stage I have defined means of achieving this through lighting and interactive design - but I will stay open to other methods of improving safety that I think of.

I have chosen to target irregular visitors to Dominion Road specifically who do not know possess the street knowledge or confidence a local retailer or resident may have.

I will now move to create personas and empathy maps specific to this area of opportunity to define who will use and be most affected by my future solution.
