Graffiti Wall (R.I.P)

I took a new approach to gather people's thoughts and emotions informally about travelling on Dominion Road at night called "Graffiti Wall". As depected I asked thi squestion of people, and allowed them a space to write their responses informally. I left the wall on Dominion Road itself, and places where people may come to/from Dominion road. This included a bus stop at Wakefield Street, and lastly the cluster of bus shelters on Symonds street opposite AUT (where it disappeared!!) for half the day each location. Lucky I had a few photos of the responses I got.
As far as response quality went, I wouldn't say this method was successful overall. BUT it did highlight an underlying theme of safety. I.e. "Creepy guys" was obviously a response from a female not feeling safe in the dark. Others included "safety concern - travel in small group" and "no security - poor lighting" with a big "YES" agreeing with the other staements.
Again this method has highlighted in my mind that the perception of safety on Dominion Road is the biggest issue I can address for this brief.
