Insight Statements (Point of Views)

Using my themes identified in my last post - plus my three self directed guidelines of interaction, security and confidence for the enjoyment of multi modal transport - I moved to create insight statements (Point of Views). I combined what I learnt in my "Themes" method to draw all my user insights and needs together into short statements.
These statements help to summarise learnings in a real world application, and possibly identify new un met needs. Ultimately this exercise will form an opportunity statement and define my brief further, which will in turn provide constraints to help generate ideas.
I created statements from the perspectives of different users inspired by my personas, and categorised each statement with colours being security/community, lighting, infrastructure/interaction and wayfinding.
I found it easier to create insight statements about security and infrastructure interaction - ultimately because I have focussed on these areas in my research. I think my opportunity statement will arise from this area, and despite being guilty of following my hunch I do feel this is the true area of opportunity in this brief.
