A few more sketchbook ideas following my research reading "Universal Principles of Design"
Ideas include:
-An advance on my ambient light idea
-Using "Symbolic Barriers" such as picket fences, window shades and welocome matts to create a perception bus stops are defensible and worth protecting
-Building lighted street art out of broken glass from vandalised cars
-Smart Street Furniture that signs a user in through mobile app to track location for security and as humanised objects communicates and assists users with travel along the corridor
-Classical conditioning encouraging pedestrians to walk or catch the bus via positive reinforcement (i.e. "woo-ing" or sound of water playing through bus stop)
-Using the Biophilia Effect growing plants inside bus stop panels or decorating footpaths to replicate natural trails (i.e. grass, gravel, dirt) to help anxious pedestrians/bus users relax
-"Umbrella-Share" allows bus users to hire out umbrellas from bus stops to use while visiting shops - vending machine style but imitating bike share system
