Environment Testing

After I created intial prototypes I took them to Dominion Road to test the form and function of my ideas in context of the environment. Aspects of my testing were limited such as getting my light attachement model to the height on the pole I envisioned it would be placed. However the exercise was still rewarding to see how my solutions may look if actually implemented.
I placed the mic prototype on a Dominion Road Bus stop, and the footpath lighting attachement on a streetlight pole down one of the corridor side streets.
Things I need to take into account after this exercise include:
-How I intend to attach the brace to the pole? (Drill screw through?)
-How high would I attach the light above the footpath?
-Refine form of attachment to be more slender + discrete (reducing weight and potential to be targeted)
-Punching hole through streetlight to redirect voltage through ammeter (need feature in brace to allow connections to housing)
-Resizing the mic to fit on the bus shelter structure + making it vandal proof?
-How to attach the mic to the shelter and where to attach wires?
