Light direction Planning

I went back to Dominion Road to take some night time shots of the side streets to create some rough visual images of what light effects I am considering my light fitting could do. I explored five options, but at the moment think the most sensible and cost effective option is to have two interchangeable throwaway components as in option 5. Either a wide low intensity spreading light or a high intensity focused spotlight would be available to choose.

Therefore the "follow the breadcrumbs" trail can be created, a wide low intensity trail can be illuminated, or both options could be implemented at alternating street poles at the installers preference or judgement.

Original I was considering option 4, but this would mean installing two light components in one fitting which would be expensive and complicate my design in the eyes of my client.
