Lighting Specifics

I'm now trying to define the little details of the light fittings - what kind of colour I think would be appropriate, and also the height/angles I need my fitting to have following my last post.

"Correlated Colour Temperature" refers to the color or coolness of a light source. I decided the LED controlled floodlight fitting would have a CCT of 4000 K (neautral white) and the metal halide fitting could have a CCT of 6000 K for a slight bluish tinge.

I used a CCT simulator to make this decision located at http://www.lrc.rpi.edu/education/learning/terminology/cct.asp.

I also used a light spread calculator to define what angle would be needed to approximately achieve a 1.5m diameter spotlight from my fitting when attached at the chosen height of 3.5 m (out of reach). The calculator recommended a spotlight angle of approximately 25 degrees. http://www.ledstuff.co.nz/data_calculators.php
