"No such thing as a maintenance free product"

I decided to do a quick spot research into what outdoor furniture design entails, and if my current materials/design would match up with suggestions I could find online.
I found it hard to find a specific set of guidelines, but did find material validation for my proposal. Reading into "Materials and Composition: Outdoor Furniture", the suggested material choice was processed aluminium or stainless steel - which I had already envisioned using anyway. I noted one comment "No such thing as a maintenance free product", so perhaps it would be wise not to pitch my idea as maintenance free, but rather tool free maintenance which it is?
